Project summary
The purpose of the study is to conduct a gender audit of the various national biotechnology innovation centres in South Africa. Six regional innovation centres will be examined for the gender responsiveness of their projects, with the goal of analysing the human capital development and the expected improvement in quality of life of South Africans through biotechnology.
